Join Us for Our Rett Syndrome Family Social at Unwin Park!
The Rett Syndrome Society of British Columbia is excited to invite families to our upcoming in-person Rett Syndrome Family Social at Unwin Park in Surrey on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
One of the most valuable parts of the Rett community is simply having the opportunity to spend time with other families who understand. Our family social is a relaxed, welcoming afternoon where families can connect, catch up, meet someone new, and enjoy time together without having to explain Rett syndrome.
Whether you have been part of the RSSBC community for years or this will be your first event with us, we would love to see you there.
A Day for the Whole Family
Our Unwin Park social is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. Bring the whole family and spend the afternoon visiting with other Rett families while enjoying the park and some accessible activities and games.
There is no pressure and no formal agenda. Come, relax, chat, let siblings connect, and enjoy being surrounded by people who understand the unique joys and challenges that can come with Rett syndrome.
Sometimes the best support comes from a simple conversation with another parent who has been there.
Rain or Shine!
Our social will take place rain or shine.
We will have pop-up tents available if Mother Nature decides to send us a little rain.
